Hi, my Dad is 85 normally healthy. He has had a Virus for 14 days. Been to Dr. Twice. They keep saying it will go away. No symptoms only a Temp ranging fro 99.6 to 100.6. Should I take him back to the dr. Email address YYYY@YYYY . Thank you for your time
As per my clinical experience, there are various measures to lower body temperature such as: @ Warm blanket coverage @ Tepid sponging in cases of high grade fever and chills @ Injection of high temperature such as febrinyl or others for high grade acute pyrexia @ Tablet of Acetaminophen, Nimesulide, Ibuprofen, Diclofenac, Etoricoxib or others as per the clinician concern and choice @ Wait and watch in cases of viral infection, as to see the effects of anti viral medications to work ahead
