hello my son just turned seven he is a vary picky eater, he eats like a bird. He never likes to try new things and he takes hours to finish his plate. If i ask him to try a new food he will take a lick of it and give me a hard time like he is going to throw it up. he is always sleepy. please help i am in desperate medical need for my son. what can i do i can see his ribs shoulder blades and collar bones. there is no muscle on him please help
I went through your details. I suggest you not to worry much. At 7, this is the age when children are always playful. The developmental pathway requires strength to bones and muscles so as to accept the next step in their growth and that is puberty. Therefore, playful people always concentrate on playing. Naturally they eat when they are hungry. When given food when they are not hungry enough, and compelled to eat, they always become bored and eat slowly. Their mind is in play and they cannot do that.
For this reason, there is no need of medical attention. But you should get a check up done for wasting diseases.
If you require more of my help in this aspect, Please post a direct question to me in this website. Make sure that you include every minute details possible. I shall prescribe some psychotherapy techniques which should help you cure your condition further.
Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications. Good luck.
