How To Manage A Punctured Ear Drum With Some Ringing And Yellowish Oozing Until I See A Specialist?

Yes. I punctured my ear drum. Initially it was ok. a little blood but no pain etc. It happened when I accidentally jammed a qtip in my ear about Nov.15. Now it is oozing something out of it. yellowish in color. It itches and I have ringing and some tenderness in my ear. I can't see a specialist until January . Any suggestions?
I saw a nurse practictioner yesterday but she didn't know what to do...she referred me to an ENT.
Thank you for your help!
