Hello, on Monday I fell off an 8 foot wall straight on to my face. It s in the healing process right now and I am not picking the skin. It hasn t exactly turned into a scab yet but I have left it uncovered and applying neosporin several times everyday. I very gently pat my face when I wash it in the shower. I am I taking care of my face properly? Is there a better way to prevent it from eventually scarring?

General & Family Physician, Dr. Sulochana's Response
Hello, Thank for writing to HCM. Continue using neosporin cream, use elovera cream before bed. Wash with cetaphil cleanser twice daily. After scab falls and after total healing- use Retino-A cream 0.025% daily in the affected area once keep for 45mins and wash with plain water.
Regards
