Hello,

To reduce the blood cholesterol level you should do regular walking at least two km daily. Do stretch exercises and jogging. Stay well hydrated and take home made nutritious food (without oil / boiled food). Cut on addictions if any. Avoid refined flour, carbs, sugar, trans fat, oily fried food, packed and processed food. Cut on red meat, cheese or milk with fat.

You can take whole cereals, nuts, fruits, veggies and lean meat. Limit the portions you eat. Take food rich in minerals and plant protein. Take routine Lipid function tests to check your progress. >You are suggested to take food cooked in olive oil.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
