How To Reduce Cough While Shallow Breathing?
I have had a dry cough for 6 weeks. Also breathlessness. Treated in hospital last week for lower respiratory tract infection with IV antibiotics and sent home with 5 day course of prednisolone. GP says my chest sounds clear. But I am still coughing after taking even shallow breaths. Any idea what else I cN do please?

After going through your medical query I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that LRTI can take long time to heal , but still experiencing breathlessness and you ages above 40 then get a basic cardiac evaluation done which includes ecg and echocardiography .
