Hi,I am Murali,age: 36,Male, My VLDL cholesterol is 44 mg/dl and TRYGLYCERIDES is 224 mg/dl and CHOL/DHL RATIO is 5.9. i could see the above things are high rather than normal.can you please let me know how can i reduce my cholesterol levels. Thank You Murali
There are treatments that may help reduce cholesterol. These are drugs such as Simvastatin or Atorvastatin which can be taken daily and can reduce cholesterol. Furthermore, I would advise you to do a thyroid test (TSH) because if the thyroid is not working properly cholesterol may be high.
