Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
A friend of mine goes through a lot of pain during her menstural cycle...the doctor examined her and told her that she is all right. But the problem remains same. The pain is so severe that she cannot even get up from her bed during the time. Please suggest something.
The symptoms of your friend seem to be related to a menstrual syndrome. I recommend using anti inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen to relieve the pain. I also suggest using warm compresses at the pelvic area to relieve the pain and rest.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
