How To Reduce Pain Around Navel Along With Bloody Diarrhea?
Woke up on Friday morning with sever pain around the naval area seemed to be in the one area had no pain in my side or anywhere else in the tummy area except slight lower back pain. Anyways had severe bouts of dioreha throughout the day the same on Saturday except this time noticed I was passing blood also. Today is no better get severe cramps every 20 mins or so and it is just running out of me. What should I do?
Thank you for posting your query at HealthCareMagic. From your post, you seem to be suffering from an acute bacterial dysentry (loose stools with blood). This will also cause severe abdominal cramps. If a patient came to me with your complaints I would suggest the following: 1. Start a course of antibiotics such as Ciprofoxacin or Metronidazole for the bacterial infection 2. lots of fluids like buttermilk and tendercoconut water, and soft solid diet 3. Anti spasmodic for the abdominal cramps Visit a doctor immediately if you are passing urine less than 3 times a day, are unable to eat or drink water/fluids, have fever (temp >102 F)
Hope you feel better soon, take care.
