How To Reduce Swelling And Throbbing Between Eyes After An Injury?

Hi. I got hit with a cricket ball between the eyes and was wondering whether I should go to the hospital for CAT scans. It s swollen up like an egg and throbs quite a bit. After being hit I was a bit dazed, but I can remember everything perfectly. My nose also started to bleed about 15seconds after being hit. I could still walk around but felt a little dizzy for a few seconds. Ca I just ice it or should I go get it checked out? Thanks

Hi,

You should get eyes examination and retinal examination with help of fundoscopy by nearby ER or an ophthalmologist. If dizziness persists may need to have CT brain as well. Meanwhile OTC analgesic like Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen may be helpful.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
