How To Reduce The Quantity Of Medicines Taken For Damaged Lumbar Discs?

Good Morning Doctor, I am taking Gabapentin because of two damaged lumbar discs. Currently I am taking 900 mg in the morning and 900 mg at night. I want to reduce this because the 1800 mg daily is making me too drowsy. How fast can I decrease? Thank you
