Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I was prescribed Bilocor 5mg , half per day, by my cardiologist 3 months ago. I am gaining weight rapidly, other meds are Cilift , increased from 1/2 to 1 per day, Zuvamor 10mg, 1 per day, zolpidem 1/4 per night, ecotrin 1 per day, and multivit red, 1 - 3 times a day. I am 66 years, old, do not get much exercise, but in the last 6 months I have gained about 7 kgs. What must I do? Thanks so much,Regards Gail
HI Well come to HCM If you have gaining the weight then this may not be due to the medicines that you are taking but this could be due to genetic constitution, in my opinion cut down the calorie and go for exercise aerobic exercise would be nice (Have a opinion from your cardiologist ) hope this information helps, have a nice day.
