How To Relieve Prolonged Tongue & Mouth Sensitivity?
My tongue is sore ,very sensitive it burns most of the time everything I eat burns a lot like when you eat really spicy hot food,a and my sense of taste is different, I've recently had a really bad cold & ear infection but none of the antibiotics list any of these symptoms . The tongue & mouth sensitivity & pain have been going on for over a week

Thanks for your query, the burning sensation could be secondary to an ulcer or fissured tongue or oral submucous fibrosis, lichen planus or anemia...the altered taste could be secondary to the cold...consult a oral physician to rule out the above said causes....meanwhile you can take topical analgesics and anesthetics...i hope my answer will help you..take care
