Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Type 2 diabetic, 35 yr smoker (until surgery) surprise cabg x 4 on 4-8-10. Lung drained 3x. Still having moderate aches and pains but having severe problem with chest sensitivity to clothing etc. Also feel uncomfortable lying on side and still some shortness of breath. Chest still painful over incision site and taking norco to alleviate pain as nothing else seems to help. Dr. has me returning to work in 2 weeks but don t know if I can handle it. I hear of people returning to work after 5-6 wks. Why am I taking so long to heal?
