How To Stimulate Defecation While Suffering From Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome?

I have one bowel movement every 1-2 weeks. I always have at the beginning of my period. I was diagnosed with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndroms which causes a slow digesting stomach. Laxatives do nothing for me and suppositories help sometimes. Is there anything else I can do to make me more regular? I eat extremely healthy and always do 6 small meals a day of veggies, protein and carbs (all clean foods only)

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, Let me inform you, menses and the bowel movement are nothing to take anything with each other, you must be having bowel movement at the time of menses but it is not relevant, tachycardia can not cause digestive dysfunction forget about this.
First this you need to do is to come out of the weird ideas that you are having, here your main concern is constipation and it could be due to low fiber diet and less amount of water intake, so eat more fiber containing diet, drink more water, do not use any suppository, but I would advise you to try Isabgol powder, keep regular habit of defecation even in absence of need of this, no matter if you do not pass the stool still be inside and sit there for while, do not exert the force.
hope this information helps.
