As it contains progesterone, it causes mild withdraw bleeding in some cases that will resolve within 2 to 4 days. But excessive bleeding in your case have following reasons: Hormonal imbalance: as you have taken pill frequently in the month. Frequent use should be avoided and you cannot use it as a regular contraceptive because it causes menstrual irregularity and hormonal imbalance that may lead to excessive bleeding. Go for hormonal analysis like E2, progersteone, FSH, LH for further management. Injury/trauma to vaginal tract: injury during the sex may be due to excessive bleeding. It may be associated with pain and should be diagnosed by vaginal examination. Vaginal /pelvic infections: it should be ruled out by swab test. It is generally associated with fever. It should be treated by antibiotics. Fibroid or precancerous condition of vagina or cervix: should be ruled out by USG scan and PAP smear. To stop bleeding, you can also take tranexamic acid after proper evaluation. Also go for CBC, BT, CT and APTT test for coagulation profile. So, consult the gynecologist and rule out the above causes.
