Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Collection of old blood and fluid in pelvis could be due to pelvic inflammatory disease, pelvic organ congestion, etc. Fluid collection is accompanied by ovulation also. I suggest you to consult a gynecologist for clinical assessment, relevant investigations and thus management.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
