How To Treat DNS Without Surgery?

I have DNS and it blocks my left nostril especially after eating and causes sleeplessness is there any remedy without undergoing any surgical treatment.........i did consult ENt specialist he didnt advise going for one, this was two years back and now i feel he was wrong and i should have gone for surgical treatment, please advise. The DNS can be treated by surgery. There is no other alternative for DNS other than surgery. So consult an ENT surgeon and get it evaluated and treated as early as possible.
