How To Treat PVC?
I am 30 years old and 4 days ago started experiencing PVC and ended up in the er. They were coming at a rate of about 8-10 a minute....I was started on cardizem 30 Bid. I have only taken it once a day because I am so scared..I haven t had caffeine in over a month or alcohol (could I have a glass or two of wine this weekend?) I have seen cardiologist and two neurologist. Normal CT scans and MRI. Stressecho normal. I m terrified and when I have these body shaking PVC I feel like I am about to die. I am also on Xanax .5 as needed. I need reassurance that I am not gonna go into cardiac arrest and to live normally....I used to be so active and now I am scared to even play Wii with my kids.....I also wore a holter monitor for 10 days and all they said was SVT. Please help me understand

and i the first line you have written was experiencieng PVC ,premature ventricular contraction
both are different entities
svt originates in the upper chamber of heart called atria and are usually not life threatning in most of the cases while premature ventricular contraction can even lead to life threatning condition like ventricular fibrillation
so kindly attach you wriiten documented reports if you want a use ful suggestion
as off now you stress echo is normal ,your holter says you have svt ...svt is a broad entity involving simple sinus tachycardia to atrial fibrilation ,donot panic ,take xanax as prescribed by your doctor,over anxiety is one of the most important cause of svt in adults
if possible make it clear whether it was a svt or pvc
