Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 5 6 , 145 lbs and 62 years of age. This morning the left side of my knee (I think it didn t hit bone but rather tendon or cartilidge) hit really hard against the bolt coming out of a street water hydrant. The pain was severe and then the leg would not even move, felt numb and weak. Now, 7 hours later and 3 ibuprofen (200mg each) taken around 9am and it is still very painful only when I walk. Not sitting or getting up from sitting. What should I do?
