How To Treat A Broken Blood Vessel In The Vaginal Area?

I am a 58 yr. old female who had breast cancer in 2004. I am glad to say I am cancer free on my last visit to my oncologist in may of this year. My question is, I have been to the doctor with symptoms of a uti and was given antibotics {cipro} which made me sick to my stomach. I really don't think they helped whatever the problem was but I had the same thing months ago and was diaginosed with a broked blood vessel in the vagina area. I was not given anything at that time and it got better. I have the same symptoms again. Is it possible it could happen again. After all, I can't have any hormone replacement thearpy since that was the original cause of my breast cancer.
