How To Treat A Bruise On The Toe Caused After An Injury?

dropped a vice onto my toe and foot I can bend or feel my middle, forth and toes. It is all torn up and the middle is black and blue but I have no pain. It feels numb except when the worn skin meets water. I cant afford an er visit could my toes be broken and I m just lucky I feel no pain?

Hello and thanks you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein and I will try to help you as much as I can with my answer.
If there is a fracture then it can't be treated at home and only xrays can prove it and sometimes immobilization is required.. Otherwise,it is just hematoma and muscle contusion and it can be treated with ice,rest and nonsteroid painkillers.
