How To Treat A Painful Wound Caused Due To A Cut On Foot?

I stepped on a piece of small glass earlier today and when my dad pulled it out it went into his skin and made his finger bleed why am I still feeling sharp pain in the wounded area? The wound has shrunk a bit but I still feel a sharp pain why is that? Is it normal?

Yes its normal. It will hurt you for some time and once it heals up, you will be ok. Apply some antibiotic cream over the area after cleaning it properly with padding. If you feel pus in it, and you get fever, consult your doctor for prescription of oral antibiotics who may give you Augmentin tablets.
