I am 52 and have Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia, untyped but most like MEN I. I have a tumor just under ear behind jaw. Biopsy 15 yrs ago said it was benign (I get lipomas all the time.) It s been tender later and now it is a little larger and when I chew I get sharp pain. Aspirin helps. Do I need to consult my doctor about this soon?
It is necessary consulting with your attending physician as soon as possible for a physical exam and an ultrasound of the soft tissues in this region. It could be just local inflammation, but considering your past medical history, we can not exclude a tumor reactivation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
