How To Treat An Alcoholic Cirrhosis, Ascites And Possible Cyanosis In The Face?
my husband os 10 years out diagnosed with alcoholic cirrhosis. He refuses medical care and has all of the outstanding indicators of the disease, including ascites, extreme itching, I thought this last weekend that there could be some variceal bleeding due to the sounds coming from his abdomen. I don t know what to look for with that and also he has possible cyanosis in the face, lips if you can count more to the purple side of the extreme color. I don t know what to do since he refuses medical treatment and I don t know when Hospice is appropriate step. Thank you for your time
Please try to convince your husband to see a doctor as the situation seems to be going out of control now. If he is not willing to listen to you, enlist the support of your children or other family members or friends who are held in high regard by your husband. Please also try to inquire if it will be possible to arrange a home visit by a doctor or at least a trained nurse so that you can be given appropriate advice.
Best wishes.
