How To Treat An Open Wound Caused While Removing The Teeth?

hi I had two teeth extraction one on the top and the other on the bottom done and the bottom one no complications but the top premolar the dentist had difficulty pulling it out the tooth broke and I think the root was left a small piece and she tore straight up on my gum. she did stitch but the stitch was not tight and the two tissues are separate. will this wound heal and come back together or will it be open like that forever and will it affect me when I put on my braces and my teeth moving into place.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query in detail and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain if the two gum flaps are not together and stitches are not placed properly then the healing will definitely be slow..
It will although heal gradually as the Oral cavity has a profuse blood supply that will make healing process easier..
Movement of teeth will not be a problem but the area should not get infected and for this proper healing is a must..
I would suggest you to consult your treating dentist and get evaluated and he/she can have a look to check for the status of healing and in case if healing is not occurring appropriately then replacing of stitches has to be done.

For detailed discussion you can also ask a direct question by going to my profile and click on Ask me now..

Any further questions are welcome..
