hi my name is sharon and i have arthritis in my left knee,in the last couple of days i have been getting really bad pains and i cant move my knee proparly,i am worrie as to what to do as i work and my job involves a lot of walking please can you advise me what to do,i am in a great deal of pain, thank you
Good evening miss. From what i infer is that your knee has been paining a lot since the last 2 days. Is it a new onset or have u been having those pains since a while. The quickest relief you can get at home is by using Painkillers( brufen compounds if u dont have any allergy). But if the pain and swelling are quite intense, better to consult a rheumatologist near you. They can give an injection in the Left knee joint cavity which will reduce the pain and swelling within a couple of days. As a rheumatologist i would like to investigate you further for the cause of arthritis, so we can help prevent any such episodes in future.
