How To Treat Bells Palsy Mediated Small Painless Bump Inside Inner Cheek?
Ive had bells palsy since aug 2013
I have a small painless bump inside my inner cheek (upper side near the upper jaw) of the affected side- looks more like a part of a swollen nerve. It happened after the palsy happened..while most of my cheek was swollen at that time due to the sudden trauma.
Now after 6 mths most of the initial swellings have subsided, but this one remains..My MRI and blood tests are normal?
I was reading that the facial nerve passes through the parotid gland so there could be some connect…
dear i have read your query since you had bells palsy in august 2013 and for that you have already got the treatment. since bells palsy is facial nerve palsy and formation of bump must have form during bells palsy period and your MRI reports are also normal so, you dont have to worry for that untill it get symptomatic (painful or increase in size). it will subside of its know with due course of time.
hope you are satisfied thank you
