Hello Madam,
First of all, I would like to calm you down, because the condition you are describing is very common and it is benigne. It is caused due to out of balance levels of the sex hormones
estrogen and
progesterone.
Management of Polycistic ovaries can include lifestyle modifications, weight reduction, and treatment with hormones or medications.
You do not mention the size of your cysts, but when the cysts are very small, they could resolve on their own.
I would recommend you to start a treating regime, firstly to regulate your menstrual cycle by starting using birth control pills. Another medication that could be useful for your condition is
metformin, which is usually used for type 2
diabetes, but has shown also that it may help with ovulation and lead to regular menstrual cycles.
If you're trying to become pregnant again, you may need a medication such as
Clomiphene to help you ovulate.
The drugs I recommended you are prescribed drugs, so I would advice you to seek a consult with your local gynaecologist.
Hope I answered to your question. For further concerns feel free to ask again.
Best wishes,
Dr. Ina
