How To Treat Breathing Problem And Heaviness In Chest Due To Anxiety?

I am a 31 year old female. I often feel like I can't breath properly. My chest feels full and heavy. It doesn't happen for any particular reason, it happens all the time any time. I have been to a few doctors about this. They have listened to my lungs and heart. I have had blood tests regarding my thyroid, kidney, blood sugar among other things. I have had my heart tested a few times and warn a harness for 24 hours. The result is it is due to my anxiety which I have delt with on and off for years now. However, even without the anxiety or feeling of panick I still feel as though I can't breath. It is ongoing, I dont know what to do. Even when on medication for anxiety I still felt this way. Is it possible it could be caused by something else?

Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your details. I suggest you not to worry much. All those tests came normal, so believe them. Your doctor is cpable enough to diagnose your problems. Anxiety can produce weird symptoms which do not have any physiological back up. From the given symptoms, paranoia can be diagnosed. But that is not all. These symptoms also could manifest if you are stressed, hugely disappointed or obsessing these thoughts. Therefore differential diagnosis is required which can only be provided by a trained psychologist / psychiatrist. Researches proves that medicines alone cannot cure anxiety disorder. Along with medicine you should practice psychotherapy techniques to streamline your life style and meditation and yoga techniques to calm your mind, body, streamline your metabolism and thinking style. Please consult a psychologist.

If you still need my help, please describe the whole problem in detail and post a direct question to me. I shall definitely help you with psychotherapy techniques to over come your problems.

Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications.
Good luck.
