How To Treat Chalazion?

Hi i had a chalazion removed over 10 days back in the lower lid of my left eye, however it still looks and feels the same, as though it was never removed or operated on. Is this normal? My doctor tells me that its probably due to some residual scar tissue - but the lump still feels hard and is as big as before?? Im worried!

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having chalazion which was removed last 10 days back. It is common for chalazion for recurrence and the common causes are recurrence of the lesion or because of incomplete removal.
Since it is only 10 days since surgery it may not be recurrence, and may respond to use of antibiotics and antiinflammatory drugs and hot compression.

Thank you
