Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Had an MRI yesterday. Results show several areas of nerve compression in lumbar spine. I have had six previous surgeries in that area for herniated discs. Am now having debilitating pain down right leg and some urinary incontinence. I am a white female, 71 years of age.
Compression in lumbar spine most times needs to be operated. But you can try conservative way too. Traction and physiotherapy are the best ones to try. If it does not reduce, better to get operated.
