Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain excessive catarrah or mucous formation can occur due to causes like upper
respiratory tract infection, sinusitis,allergies,
acid reflux,
lung infection etc..
I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical examination,
sputum culture and blood tests can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
In case if allergies is ruled out you can be advised oral anti allergics like Allegra or benadryl..
You can be advised to do steam inhalations..
Take mucolytics like Ambroxol and decongestants like
Phenylephrine..
You can also be advised to drink warm water..
Avoid exposure to dust and pollutants..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
