Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of cough, chest congestion and fever in children is because of viral infection and involvement of both respiratory tract. I would suggest you to maintain hydration level of child first of all. Give plenty of fluids to child. Give combination of anti allergic such as cetrizine and saline nasal decongestants. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. Go for blood and sputum test first and get it examined. Start treatment after proper diagnosis. Take steam inhalation as well. For nasal block, plain saline nasal drops will do, every 4-6th hourly to relive nasal congestion.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
