How To Treat Degenerative Disc Disease Causing Intense Lower Back Pain?

I have low back pain (chronic). Not overweight. I do stretching and yoga but pain most,of time is a 5-7. I had Miri. and have degenerative disk. Iamm52 year old in good health Chiropractor helps a tiny bit. Looking for suggestions ? Please And thanks Devlin harris

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have degenerative disc disease causing intense lower back pain . Well i would suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination . Doctor will examine physically and may order tests like CT scan . Doctor may prescribe Non-steroidal anti-inflammatories , stronger medications, such as oral steroids, muscle relaxants, or narcotic pain medications . Doctor may also recommend exercise and physical therapy , hamstring stretching back strengthening exercise , dynamic lumbar stabilization . Do all the exercises recommended by doctor under expert .
