How To Treat Enlarged Tonsils With Pus Spots And Cervical Lymphadenopathy?

hello Doctor my son has b/l tonsils enlarged with pus spots, multiple aphthous ulcers, cervical lymphadenopathy.evere throat pain Severe throat pain and the fever comes and goes, he is currently on Augmentin 625mg and does Betadine gargles, crocin if there is fever. Is this the right course of medication, he is 21 years old and not allergic to any medication. Please help Regards, Delna

hello HCM user. your son is on correct medication. the tonsillitis must come down within aweek. if augmentin doesnt work in a 2 week period,then you doctor will change the antibiotic. most of the patients get cured by augmentin 625.your son will get better.
