What is the cause for persistent epigastric pain. US- neg, and nothing was found on endoscopy. Also have upper back pain. 33 yr old female, non smoker, in good health. All blood work was in normal ranges and cholesteral was good at 130 total. Epigastric region is also tender to touch. Sometimes have chest pain with no SOB. Pain seems to be brought on by stress, eating sometimes, and elevated HR.

How To Treat Epigastric Pain?
Hello, Epigastric pain in your condition may be due to anxiety or stress. Which may induce palpitations and chest and epigastric pain. Other possibilities like peptic ulcer disease or gastritis or irritable bowel syndrome etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Use tablet pantoprazole. Avoid spicy food and alcohol avoid smoking and caffeine drinks. Do regular exercise and yoga. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
