Hello,

You are suffering from typhoid. You are on the medicines prescribed by your treating doctor. Presently, you are continuing to have low grade fever and also lower abdominal pain. Typhoid sometimes relapses, you are suggested to take boiled water after cooling. Do not eat from outside. Avoid oily, spicy food. Do not take fried food, raw food or food hard to digest.

Take boiled home made food to help keep your digestive system healthier. Let it recover, do not load it with junk, packaged food, trans fat, etc. You need rest, take at least 8 hours sleep. You are are advised to get repeat Widal test done after strict diet control. It should show improvement. But you should continue to stick to boiled food for t least 3-4 months to avoid relapse.

You should take analgesic to get relieve from fever and body ache. For relieve of lower abdominal pain you can take PPIs, one SOS when needed. If pain continues you can take Spasmol (spasmoproxyvon), one stat when required. Do not smoke, avoid taking alcohol and addictions if any.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
