How To Treat Frequent Pale And Whiney Glassy Eyes, Vomiting After Stomach Pain For Previous 2 Days In A 6 Yo?
My 6 year old vomitted this morning after complaining off and on of stomach pain for two days. A day she has laid on couch. 99 temperature. Ate some peaches. Drank water. Had bowel movement. But every so often she gets glassy eyed pale and whiney. Shes never slept today. Her pulse is 120 while lying. Im concerned about diabetes, or anything. Shes seemingly fine then bam shes not. I almost called her dr earlier but didn't. Now they are closed.
Thanks for writing to health care magic. I can understand your concern.
Recurrent vomiting with stomach pain could be because of several causes. One of the cause is infection of the stomach. Various conditions like obstruction of the intestines can also cause such problem. Vomiting may be associated with viral or other forms of hepatitis. Here there will be poor appetite and yellowish discoloration of the eyes. Please consult your doctor for a physical examination. Your doctor may order certain investigations based on the physical examination findings. Further management depends on the diagnosis made. So consult your doctor for a examination to identify the cause. Continue to ask further queries as required. Hope this helps. Take care.
