How To Treat Hit Mediated Painful Bump And Bruising Behind Ear In A 7 Years Old Child?
My 7 year old boy had the metal part of a swing at school fly back and hit him directly behind his ear. There is a bump and already a bruise showing. This happened 4 hours ago. Gave him Tylenol and he's responding fine but says it really hurts. Did the eye check and his eyes responded as well. What are your suggestions?

Pain relieving drug like ibuprofen will reduce inflammation .
Antibiotic for a short period will prevent secondary infection .
