How To Treat Insomnia?

My mother, aged 70 + , is suffering from Insomnia for the last two and a half years. She was diagonised of colon cancer in 2006, and after colestomy interior resection, she is now stable and normal. Please provide solutions for her insomnia. Is their any treatment of this problem at all ?

hiii dear

start with lorazepam 2 mg at bed time will useful to treat insomnia in old age

sometimes in cancer there are many psychological changes occur particularity anxiety and depression due to its botheration

so require mild dose of antidepressant also like tab escitalopram 5 mg

but psychological and social support is must in this kind of patients
dont be afraid
increase her motivation
