General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Generalized itching can be due to different possible causes such as: (1) infection eg with scabies or lice
(2)hormonal condition such as thyroid disease
(3)liver or kidney disease
(4)side effect of medication
(5)allergies

You may want to consider seeing a dermatologist to find out the cause, repeat tests maybe needed including a broad spectrum of allergy tests.

I hope this helps
