How To Treat Itchy Pimples On Face And Swelling In Lips While Breastfeeding?

I have allergy like pimples with itching and if I leave long time lips gets swelling. I used cetirizine tablet but it is temporarily relieved... But it keep on coming. Since I M feeding baby can't take all tablets. Allergy started after I took antibiotics tablet augmeulin tablet

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain as there have been allergic reaction after taking antibiotic Augmentin the first thing that you should do is to immediately stop the intake of antibiotic and gradually the symptoms of allergy will start fading off..
As you are a nursing mother you can still take anti-allergics as they are considered safe in nursing mothers and first generation anti-allergics are more safer like Diphenhydramine[benadryl], still you can consult a Gynaecologist and Obstetrician before taking..
You can also do cold compresses over the lips and the itchy sores over face for reducing inflammation,itching and swelling.
Calamine lotion can also be applied to soothe the skin..
Avoid biting,pressing or biting the lips.
Do not try to lance the sores..

Once the antibiotic intake is stopped and you take anti allergics and other remedies as I explained the symptoms will resolve in 3 to 4 days..
