How To Treat Lack Of Focus In Adults?

I am aljinraj from calicut. I am just completed my BE in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. I am not a Psychiatric patient. but i can t concentrate in my studies. I think In all other things I am perfect because of this reason i have so many Back papers(arrears). Don t misunderstand me to send this mail. because if i consult you directly, i and my family may become a laughing stock in Society. I am very much afraid of that. So excuse me to ask this question to you through online. My question is, will this problem cleared after a counseling ? otherwise can we inject the thought of study to our subconscious mind directly by hypnotism ? I think just a counseling is not enough for my problem. That’s why I am asking this.  I am expecting a positive reply from you. Please help me.                                      With respect                                               YYYY@YYYY

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Do not get disheartened about your studies. You can do it slowly at your convenience.
But based on the problems you are encountering, it is best advisable for you to see a Psychiatrist for proper solution. You will be definitely be benefited by 'psychotherapy' and 'psychiatric counselling' sessions.
Don't have to worry as once you are out of this phase and start getting positive results, you would get more confidence and perform better in future. Believe in yourself and you can do it.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
