How To Treat Low WBC Mediated Large Bruise Along With Fatigue And Weight Loss?
Hi I am 20yrs old I went to the doctor because of a large bruise I was paranoid about so they took a blood test and the bruise was nothing but I have low white blood cell count. It came up as 1.6 and my doctor said It probably nothing and I ll wait another month then get another blood test... So yesterday I got the results for my second blood test And it is still the same. My doctor doesn t seen concerned at all I have been researching all about it. But she said to wait another month then get another test??? That doesn t seem right. I m paranoid something could be wrong and she s telling me to wait and not doing tests. She said it could be a viral infection but I have no symptoms for a flu. I am always extremely fatigued and I ve lost quite a bit of weight i have gone off food. That s about it. So should I change doctors or she is telling me the right thing ? Please help!!
When test is normal why are you after the bruise, it is after all very minor. If you are not stis fied with advise then go for second opinion with other doctor. If the opinion is in similar line than accept it and forget.
