Hi, welcome to our site. I am Dr Saumya Mittal, MD.
Read your query. That is a very significant question and i appreciate your problem. I will try my best to answer your query
I wont suggest the over the counter pain killers- they can have serious side effects. And should really be avoided as they mix up the examination by your
primary care physician.
However, I would suggest that you spend the time in few basic investigations like the
x ray of the spine so that the examining physician has something more specific to go on, and so you can get relief faster with properly prescribed medicines.
I think eventually he will need you to put you up on
physiotherapy , and medicines like pregabalin/
gabapentin, but lets be sure about the diagnoses first
I hope this helps you. Inform the reports mentioned above/if any other so I can be of help further.
I have given you the answer to the maximum considering the information provided. The results of the tests could further enhance my answer to you.
