How To Treat Lump Above The Navel?

I have a lump popped out in stomach just above my naval,probably it happend because of yoga or weight lifting.The diameter of lump is about one inch.Dr advised me stop exercise ,I continued with waist belt.Its been one month,nothing unusual happend.My worry is can this lead to surgery,or I can avoid it,should I avoid exercising .

I really appreciate your concern, given history could be suggestive of hernia and it could be from the abdominal wall and if this is so then surgery is the option for this, but condition need to be confirmed and for that you need to get done the ultrasonography test, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.

Hi.

Most probably an abdominal hernia, which most certainly calls for avoiding all lifting, which can only make things worse. Please do avoid the exercise, and the treatment doea include surgery. Please consult your doctor.
