How To Treat Mildly Blocked Ears?

Hi, I went into the GP to check my mildly blocked ears since I'm flying internationally in two days; they recommended WaxSol ear drops to soften the wax, then come back for syringing. Both ears then completely blocked after applying the overnight ear drops, so had the syringing done this morning, but right ear still was blocked. Went back this afternoon and they did further syringing with a bit of force. Both ears seemed to unblock and finally felt clear, but now my hearing is down to half volume (has been for last 4 hours with a bit of ringing).

Should I see a specialist tomorrow or get accupuncture etc. before I fly? I'm worried about why my hearing is now very reduced even though my ears are clear.
