How To Treat Nausea, Illness, Odorous Bowel Movements, Gas, Mucus, Chills After Pneumonectomy?

I am a female, in decent shape for 75 years old. Had symptoms of nausea, sick feeling, slight/pain pressure in chest in May 2013. Scans showed several gallstones in my bile duct (gallbladder removed decades ago), and also a lung cancer mass. The gallstones had not acted up again since May, so we went ahead with the lung cancer problem first and I had a pneumonectomy (whole left lung removed) seven weeks ago. Was home in 4 days, recovered well, no complications. Two weeks ago the stones/duct began acting up again. Eight days ago, Dec 6 2013, I had an ERCP performed by a Gastroenterologist who removed 3 ‘good sized’ gallstones via basket. The procedure was very painful and difficult. Within hours of coming home I was sick. Went to emerg, was diagnosed with pancreatitis...stayed overnight on IV with painkiller and gravol. Now, eight days later I still feel nauseous and ill; have small, terribly odorous bowel movements with some gas and mucus, the odd chill, and don’t seem to be getting better. What do I do?

Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day
Presence of persistent symptoms could mean residual gallstones present in common bile dict and obstructing it, its less likely in case common bile duct stent is inserted after gallstone extraction.
Would advise you to consult you Gastroenterlogist for reassesement and further management.

In case you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Wishing you happy and healthy life

Take Care
