ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi, there is no definitive treatment for decreased mouth opening due to oral submucous fibrosis. There are various procedures which have been described but the results are not very encouraging and uniformly present. Leaving the use of tobacco is the best option and this prevents future increase in the problem but to reverse the already damaged mucosa is very difficult. Regarding your query for any medicine, there is not effective medical treatment for this. Regards
